As mango is very sweet you don't need banana or honey which is stuff I would normally use to sweeten up a smoothie but of course if you have don't mango this recipe is quite yummy made with banana instead. I like to use frozen mango as it makes it colder and fluffier. Ginger and cardamom are optional but adds to the amazing taste and is great for digestion and the immune system.
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • approximately 2 cups water and/or milk of choice
  • 2 tbs yoghurt of choice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • a dash of vanilla extract
  • a dash of cardamom
  1. Blend and serve!
